As we approach another year, I thought about all that is going on in my life. My exciting adventure as a writer. My father’s health, the love and joy my Happy Chaos brings me, the bond I share with my brothers, my friends, and readers. How much I am surrounded by love. By now, I know I sound like a broken record but I am so thankful and appreciative of all that I have and accomplished.
Like every other year, every other unknown, I am ready to embrace 2015. We will continue on our family adventures and make new memories. Along the way, we will make mistakes, stumble and get back up again, because that is living. That is love, that is life.
I wish that the New Year turns out to be a very special one for you, filling each day with peak of health, abundance of happiness and sunshine, bountiful luxury and prosperity and Zen like serenity.
I share this quote from Neil Gaiman—
“I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes.
Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re Doing Something.
So that’s my wish for you, and all of us, and my wish for myself. Make New Mistakes. Make glorious, amazing mistakes. Make mistakes nobody’s ever made before. Don’t freeze, don’t stop, don’t worry that it isn’t good enough, or it isn’t perfect, whatever it is: art, or love, or work or family or life.
Whatever it is you’re scared of doing, Do it.
Make your mistakes, next year and forever.”
