We love Christmas at the house. It seems every year, we add a little more to our ever growing list of traditions. Below are some of our family Christmas traditions.
We make decorating the tree a family event. My husband makes hot chocolate and we play Christmas music. The boys love it.
I make our own Christmas cards to send to our family and friends.
Every year we make the boys go through their toys and clothes and donate to our local church for needy families.
We take the boys for a walk, they collect pine cones. We decorate and use them as ornaments.
Christmas Eve, the boys bake cookies and write a letter to Santa.
My husband reads Twas a night before Christmas to the boys.
We make a Christmas playlist with our favorite Christmas songs. Some of the songs on our playlist this year are: The Christmas Song by Hootie & The Blowfish, What Child Is This by Andrea Bocelli and Mary J Blige, O Come O Come Emmanuel by Enya, and The Twelve Days of Christmas by the cast of Phineas & Ferb.
My husband and the boys always wear their ugly plaid pants on Christmas Day.

Welcome to my blog. If this is your first time, I’m a mommy, wife, fan of coffee, and a writer who loves to write emotive tales that loop women’s fiction and romance in a diverse world. I tend to share a lot of moments from my life with my Happy Chaos—my husband and our two energizer bunnies—my love for sports, music I stumble upon, and my unbridled enthusiasm for life. Feel free to comment anytime on any of my posts at the bottom of any entry. Love and kisses.
“Adam & Lily are ELECTRIFYING! I started and didn’t stop till the very last word. I am a forever fan from the first story, and this just sealed it in stone. Kudos Ms. Jolie!!”
“This book was fanfreakintastic!! I loved this book. This book is part of a series (book 1) but I am actually reading these out of order. I started by reading book 3 and loved it so much, I had to come back and read the rest of the series as well.”
“This book had me laughing and in tears. I had plenty of heart twinges and went through many Kleenex along the way (basically towards the end). There was heartache, feelings of low self-worth, redemption, personal growth, self-realization and many sexy bits too.”
“Would read it again…and again. Mika has a built a very cozy and engaging world with her Martha’s Way series. Her eloquent descriptions invoke the setting while her characters and their issues pull you into the story”
